Coffee with intention
We partner with roasters who source responsibly and roast thoughtfully. Every shot is dialed in daily, and we taste our own drinks constantly so you don't get a "just okay" coffee.
Our story
Riverside Coffee Co. started with a simple idea: what if your neighborhood café felt less like a quick stop and more like a place to stay? A spot where you know the baristas, can actually hear your friends talk, and always find a corner that feels like it was saved just for you.
From the very beginning, we've cared about the tiny details: the way the light hits the bar in the morning, how our espresso tastes after three sips, and whether there's always an outlet near the good seats. This is the kind of place we wanted for ourselves—so we built it.

Riverside Coffee Co. opened with one espresso machine, a handful of mismatched chairs, and more enthusiasm than sleep. Our goal was never to be the biggest café in town—it was to be the most thoughtful.
We obsessed over the way our espresso was pulled, but we also obsessed over the playlist, the feel of the mugs in your hands, and how the space sounds when it's full of quiet laptop workers versus friends catching up after work.
Over time, the shop became less about us and more about the people who kept showing up: the regular who always orders an oat vanilla matcha at 8:12am, the study group that slowly took over the back table, and the neighbors who meet here before walking their dogs.
The space
Warm wood, soft lighting, and plants that refuse to die. We designed the shop with a mix of solo nooks, big tables, and bar seating, so you can choose how social you want to be today.
The bar
We keep the menu approachable but dialed in—espresso, pour-overs, and a rotating list of seasonal drinks that never feel gimmicky. Think cozy, not complicated.
Great coffee is the starting point, not the finish line. These are the things we think about every time we unlock the doors in the morning.

Outlets by the good seats, Wi-Fi that actually works, and music you don't have to shout over. Need quiet focus or a spot for a small meeting? You'll find both.
We try to keep as much as we can local—from pastries to the art on the walls. We host pop-ups, small markets, and community events so the shop reflects the people who live around it.
We're not perfect, but we're intentional. We work with roasting partners who are transparent about where their beans come from and how farmers are paid.
In the shop, we keep things simple: real mugs for stay-in drinks, thoughtfully chosen disposables for takeout, and ongoing tweaks to reduce waste without making your morning more complicated.
We're always open to ideas—if you're part of an organization or initiative that aligns with this, come talk to us. The best changes have come from conversations over the bar.

Our team is a mix of coffee nerds, artists, students, and neighbors who genuinely like seeing the same faces come back again and again.
Founder & head barista
Usually the first one in and the last one out. Alex cares way too much about water temperature and loves dialing in new seasonal drinks.
Community & events
If there’s a market, pop-up, or open mic happening, Jordan’s the one who made sure the lights, sound, and vibes are just right.
Coffee educator
Hosts our tasting nights and nerdy coffee classes. Riley can talk for hours about processing methods—but only if you ask.
Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, we'd love to be part of your morning ritual, study routine, or catch-up spot.
